Manali is very well connected by roads. Frequent buses are available for manali from all over Himachal and also from Chandigarh,ambala. From Delhi also there are buses to Manali. From Delhi the best options are comfortable Volvo buses that travel overnight to reach Manali next morning. The other option are private taxies or drive your own vehicle through the beautiful valley along the Beas river stopping at different places, clicking photos and enjoying  the drive with tea/snacks break

By train you need to reach Chandigarh first and from Chandigarh you could hire a taxi or get a bus to Manali. By Air Manali is directly connected to Delhi through nearest airport at Kullu which is 50km away, however the services can be irregular so other option is Chandigarh airport.

Once in Manali apart from being a beautiful and quiet honeymoon destination it also have vast expanse of varied and awe inspiring landscapes offering some of the most exciting sporting pursuits to you. One of the major landmarks of Manali, Hadimba Temple is situated in the middle of forests known as Dhungri Van Vihar. Dedicated to Goddess Hadimba, Hadimba Temple is one of the masterpieces of the temple architecture in India. The sanctuary is built over a huge rock jutting out of the ground, which was worshipped as an image of the deity. The structure was built in the year 1553.

Around 3 km from Manali, across the Beas river is Vashist, a small village with natural sulphur springs.  The water from the steaming springs is noted for its medicinal value and healing properties and has the potential of curing different kinds of ailments. Modern bathhouses, with Turkish-style showers, have the hot water piped into them for the convenience of the visitors who come here to benefit from the medicinal properties. Vaishisht, also boasts a pair of old stone temples, opposite each other above the main square. Do take a bath here.

It is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund about 13km from Manali. Solang valley popularly known as Snow Point offers view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. It has fine ski slopes and also a spot for paragliding. The Mountaineering Institute has installed a ski lift for training purpose and training in skiing is imparted at this place. Located here is a hut and guesthouse of the Mountaineering and Allied sports Institute. Now a few hotels have also come up. The winter skiing festival is organised here. The place is always abuzz with number of tourists enjoying one thing or other.

Rohtang Pass Manali

Located 50 km from Manali at an altitude of 13,050ft the Rohtang Pass is the gateway to Lahaul Spiti. Rohtang Pass is one of the top travel attractions of Manali on the Manali-Keylong road and provides a wide panoramic view of mountains rising far above clouds, which is truly breath taking. Close by is a small lake called Dassaur Lake. Beas Kund, the source of river Beas, is also nearby. A paradise for adventure sports enthusiasts In winter, the road of Rothang Pass is closed.
